what is real

What is and what isn't
Whats real and what isn't real
Today I ask myself these questions
I hopes that tomorrow I will have not just the answers
But a way forward from were I stand

My journey is parallel to all those who live
Though they might follow an already beaten path
Every unbeaten curve that you see
Might be corners that our mentors cut
Or mearly sections they never arrived at yet

But one thing is certain in my mind
And that is what is real is
And what isn't doesn't exist
And thus in that simple thought
The process of healing can begin

The more we deny ourselves the truth
The more we elude ourselves the chance of moving on
And letting go of all that hurt pain and resentment or anger
That always seem to consume our souls
And eating away our very flesh while we living

what is is unlike what isn't
Because what isn't drives us down a lonely road
Through a bottomless pit until we bit rock bottom
But what is, is the truth of a situation
And accepting it might just do more than save your life
