The distructive powers of pride
Worm their self into your ego
Boosting its moral
And assuming its confident
That anything is possible
Either way or the other
Its main motive
By all means
Exceed all others
By marginal error
And a bout of misalign
On the direction its aimed at
It can call in lust greed or gluttony
It can mastermind jealousy, hatred and anger
And once it has opened up all six
It as the seventh
Becomes the final seal
That becomes the doorway to heaven
Pride, top of the seven sins
But seldom seen in the scene
Because its the kingpin of the whole act
The godfather of the whole outfit
Pride, what am I going to do with it
Because without it a can do a lot
