I've seen peace

I've seen peace in the hearts of man
As I searched for freedom
I've seen peace in the eyes of man
As I set out to be free

No longer are we blinded by your greed
When love rules the day
We are free
But freedom is yet to be seen

I've seen peace in the hearts of man
For I see freedom
I've seen peace in the eyes of man
For they have opened my eyes for me

No longer shall we fight
When there is nothing to fight for
No longer shall we rage war
And call it a war of freedom

I've seen peace in the hearts of man
But only those who love is their religion
I've seen peace in the eyes of man
But from only those who are awakened like me

Because no more can we be lied to
When the truth is out there for all to see
No more can we be shackled to you lies
When we can clearly see the truth for what it be

You say we at war
But still you give us no reason
You say you are creating peace
But how can there be peace when you killing us

The future generation is lost
Only because you put no trust in them
You push your agendas
But say its in our best interest

Well I've seen peace in the hearts of man
From those who offered me freedom
I've seen peace in the eyes of man
From those who taught me freedom

Freedom, like a mythical creature of the dark
Is no more a dream than it is reality
Only if we choose to follow our souls
And let our hearts guide us there

Freedom, for we wish to be free
But still wage war in the name of peace
Peace, it would have to be seen as a lie
Because many have died fighting for it

I've seen peace in the hearts of man
Who taught love as their religion
I've seen peace in the eyes of man
As they planted its seeds within me
