to be a part of the truth

I never wanted to be a poet
But these words call out to me
Like a prisoner searching for freedom
Maybe this is my destiny
To plot the next step of man
For these words hide more than they can speak
Hidden in my thoughts is not reality
No will you find the truth
Hidden in my words is a lie
But even a lie is a tailor made truth
Only designed for a specific purpose
To dispel any doubt that might live
And prevent you from being free
Free, as if we a chained down
But there is no truth to that
We can soar high like an eagle
Only if we spread our wings
And let them catch the wind behind us
We will make it there
But not if we continue to live a lie
For there is no such thing as a lie
Nor is there ever truth
Just walls of separation dividing us
So we are all correct
Its just that we let the ego guide us
I am slowly peeling away at is layers
And every time a piece of the wall comes down
The more I feel free
The more I feel enlightened
Like the weight of the world
Has been lifted of my shoulders
Yes, this is the new me
And not because I wanted to change
But rather because change was in me
Everyday I see the signs
Doubt is being dispelled
Fear is being conquered
And I am once again hearing my heart song
For my soul is once again free
Free from the chains that were binding it
Binding it from this earth
This earth, that is no more a lie than it is truth
 That most man wish to speak
But none has ever stood in search of
Truth, in the knowledge of man like us
But unlike us
These man weren't in search of the truth
For they we already a part of it
