He said be like a tree
And let the dead leaves fall away

He said be like a drop in the ocean
For even a drop has a ripple effect

He said be weak
And you shall know strength

He said Be
And I was.

Life is bit a journey of a thousand miles
Each one with its own thousand paths

Whichever that I choose
Shall ultimately get me there

So I walk this journey alone
In hopes of one day finding a companion

Although my heart bleeds for it
I am not afraid to make it on my own.

He said be like a tree
Always intact in its own conscious mind

He said be like an ocean
And let it all be a part of you

For you are the earth
And the earth is a part of you

This is my life
And I am going to let no one live it for me.
