Diamonds in the desert
The cactus of Africa
To me you are my symbol of home
The person I wish to be

Birds chirping
As the sun rises
Day breaks
So its time to get ahead

To go about our days
Working for our dreams
To love so freely
And care so openly

When days go cold
In my heart I shall warm
If it ever gets freezing
My light shall be your warmth

We are one
For we are friends to the very end

on a redemption trail

He grovels on
Slowly limping
From the cripples
Life has brought on

He marches
Stick in hand
Bag over his shoulders
He has moved on from his plight

He is no king
He is no leader
He is no boss
He is just human

An individual who has
Been down so much
His life is no longer a rollercoaster
Its more off a merry go round

He rolled round and round
Tossing and turning in my plight
Stagnation had become his ailment
So he had to move on

He had to push away from his misery
He had to move away from his plight
So he put his back pack on
And started back on his journey

He is a travelling man
Moving through places
Moving through the times
Because he has a lot to do

So he is that phoenix
Rising from its ashes
That athlete
On a come back trail

This is his life
This is his story
Because I am that young man
Who is on a redemption trail

Dear Heavenly father
If you could hear me now
Listen not to my words
But rather guide me to my dreams

What I see

Through the eyes

For when you see two sous talking
Sharing what is, positively
My brother
That is God right there

So what I see

For we are one
Connected by an all knowing source
That's why what I know
Ultimately you shall know

Because it is our journey to find out
What mine brother gets to feel
Its my journey to teach about
What mine brother has not dealt

We feed of each other
Relaying messages across the board
So that we could all know
But some people wish for us to never find out

Never call them evil
Never scold
Or treat them with hate
For they also have for you
something they can teach you
